The membership of the National Window Rating Committee approved Helen Sanders and Zachary Flora to join the board of directors.
Commercial window manufacturer or supplier: Helen Sanders, Technoform, North American General Manager Sanders has more than 25 years of experience in glass coating, insulating glass and window manufacturing and performance in the glass industry. She has worked with a range of industry participants from architects and engineers to window and glass manufacturers to complete the entire design and construction process, including testing and certification. She is also actively involved in the energy code development process (IECC and ASHRAE 90.1), and develops code proposals and advocates for new code languages in code development agencies.
General interest-Consumer Environmental or Energy Efficiency Organization: Zachary Flora, Active Design Center, Flora, Vice President of Market Growth, is an active Fitwel ambassador dedicated to advancing healthy building practices. For more than three years, he has been working at the Active Design Center, which is the operator of the Fitwel certification system. He leads the growth and expansion of Fitwel, focusing on entering new areas and regions. Before joining Fitwel, Flora worked in strategic growth and relationship management in commercial real estate and technology companies. He has expertise in non-profit administration/management, strategic planning and green building/construction.
These new board members will begin their three-year term in January 2022.
